Faculty/Department Hill and Levene Schools of Business Unit Business Admin-Other Employee Group CUPE 2419 CUPE 5791 Job Family Category Student Number of Vacancies 1 Position Summary The purpose of this position is to work with the faculty supervisor to advance a study on teacher militancy and political mobilization in Saskatchewan. The research associate/assistant will assist with the research design, transcribe and code interviews, help construct a literature review, and freedom of information submissions. Position Requirements · Good understanding of primary and secondary research. · Familiarity with qualitative research.
  • Experience with Zoom and other on-line platforms is important.
  • Experience working in, or knowledge of Saskatchewan’s public education system is an asset, but not required.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently or with minimal supervision, self-directed, focused worker; strong organizational and time management skills; excellent attention to detail; ability to adhere to strict timelines; carefully follows directions and instructions.
  • Familiarity with freedom of information processes, Hansard, and archival research.
Graduate students are preferred.
